This is from someone Meg and Grandma Williams met on their tour of the British Isles.

Ingredients
  • 1 yellow cake mix, not pudding
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 eggs
  • ⅔ cup oil or applesauce
  • 1 cup nuts
  • ½ of a 12 oz. jar of butterscotch syrup
  • ½ of a 12 oz. package of butterscotch bits
  • Mix, pour on batter Swirl with a knife.
  • Bake at 350⁰ for 25-30 minutes.
  • Let sit ½ hour before removing
Instructions
  1. Mix cake mix, water, eggs, and oil or applesauce.
  2. Place ½ mixture in bundt pan lined with Bakers’ Joy (or spray with Pam and dust with flour.) Add nuts, butterscotch syrup, and bits to balance of mix.
  3. Mix and pour on the batter. Swirl with a knife.
  4. Bake at 350⁰ for 25-30 minutes.
  5. Let sit ½ hour before removing from pan.
