Grandma's Cherry Cobbler

Ingredients
- 2 qts. cherries
- 1¼ cups sugar
- 6 Tbsp. minute Tapioca
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- Dash salt
- ¾ cube margarine
- ½-⅔ cup milk
Instructions
- Mix the sugar and Tapioca, then dump in cherries while you mix the crust.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the butter and then add milk. It should be sticky, more like bread dough than pie crust. Roll/pat to match pan.
- Stir up cherries and tapioca; place in baking dish. Roll crust onto rolling pin and off over baking dish. Cut slits in dough. Sprinkle sugar over top.
- Bake at 375⁰ for about 45 minutes. Place a cookie sheet underneath!
