Almond Pound Cake

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2½ cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • ¼ tsp. baking soda
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • ½ tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1½ tsp. almond extract
  1. Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs one at a time. Sift together flour and baking soda. Add flour mixture and buttermilk alternately to butter mixture until all combined. Add extracts. Pour into bundt pan and bake in 350⁰ oven for 60-70 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let stand for 5-10 minutes before turning over onto plate.
