"No Knead" Bread Rolls

Ingredients
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. yeast
- ¼ cup warm water
- ¼ cup shortening
- 3½ cups flour
- 1¼ tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup boiling water
Instructions
- Place shortening, salt, and sugar in bowl.
- Add boiling water and stir.
- When lukewarm, add yeast and ½ of the flour.
- Add egg and beat well.
- Then add remaining flour and mix well.
- Grease top of dough and cover lightly.
- Refrigerate 2-24 hours.
- Pinch off rolls and put into muffin pans.
- Keep fingers well greased while working with dough.
- Let rise for 2 hours.
- Bake at 425⁰ for 20 minutes.
- Makes 2 dozen rolls.
- Can be made in different shapes.
