Hamburger Buns

Serves: 4 dozen
Ingredients
- 4 yeast cakes in 4½ cups of warm water.
- 1 cup dry milk
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- ½ cup melted shortening
- 2 well-beaten eggs
- 10-14 c. flour.
Instructions
- Combine yeast cakes and water.
- Add dry milk, sugar, salt, shortening, and eggs.
- Add Flour.
- Don’t get too stiff.
- Knead until smooth.
- Raise double then shape and place on greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 400⁰ for 12-15 min.
- Brush lightly with butter.
Notes
Great to freeze. Can easily be cut in half.
